For a long time, ‘Haru’, an intersex teen, appears as a girl in high school, but despite all the danger of being bullied, it’s now time to coming out. This is what honest, brave and responsible ‘Haru’ thinks.

‘IS – Otoko Demo Onna Demo Nai Sei’ (2011) is an excellent 10-episode series depicting the problems that intersex individuals might face in our society, as well as showing the importance of family and friends’ support.
